How do I lose Weight?

  • Begin a regular exercise program, to consist of walking, treadmill, elliptical machine, biking, swimming, dancing, or weight training. Start 5-10 minutes every day, and increase by 2 minutes each day. Aim for 45 minutes daily, at least 5 days per week.

  • A combination of proper food plan, with good exercise and proper sleep is the best way to lose weight. Good exercise is the most important factor in weight maintenance. Gradually increase to 4-6 hours weekly of activity. Always call your doctor immediately or call 911 if you experience chest pain, shortness of breath, light headedness or palpitations at any time.
  • Take a multivitamin daily, to assure you are getting all of the vitamins and minerals you need.
